Youssoufi Picked by NYCFC in Third Round Pick of the 2022 MLS SUPER DRAFT

NY Pancyprian Freedoms (NYPF) are proud to announce that El Mehdi Youssoufi was the 28th draft pick in the third round of the 2022 MLS Super Draft by NYCFC.

The former St Francis College forward recorded 13 goals and 2 assists in 16 games for St Francis College Brooklyn in 2021 before joining the NYPF at the end of the 2021 Fall Eastern Premier Soccer League season and contributed from his first touch with spectacular individual play and 3 assists in 3 games.

“From the first moment Mehdi got on the field, we knew he was an impact player,” says Panos Onisiforou, Techinical Director of the NYPF. “The club wishes him all the best in the next chapter of his career.”
