About Us

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club has beginner and travel soccer programs in New York City.

About Us

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club was established in 1981 in Astoria, Queens, and has grown into one of the most respected community-based soccer organizations in New York City.

Rooted in the Greek and Cypriot communities, the club was built on discipline, pride, and hard work. From day one, the mission has been clear: develop players the right way, on and off the field. Winning matters, but development, character, and accountability matter more.

EPSC operates as a nonprofit organization offering a complete player pathway, from introductory youth programs and intramural leagues to competitive travel and select teams. The club emphasizes structured training, high standards, and a long-term development model that prepares players for high school, college, and advanced competitive environments.

Beyond soccer, Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club is a community institution. It connects generations, preserves cultural identity, and uses the game as a vehicle to teach respect, responsibility, and leadership. The blue and white represent more than a uniform, they represent heritage, commitment, and pride.

More than four decades later, EPSC continues to raise the bar, staying true to its roots while building pathways that give its players real opportunity and real exposure.

Established in 1981. Built to last.

Our Soccer Philosophy

At Eleftheria Youth, our philosophy is to play assertive, possession-focused soccer. We aim to control the game, creating goal-scoring opportunities through “numbers up” plays and encouraging our players to make smart, confident decisions on and off the ball. Our coaches instill patience in our players, teaching them to maintain possession during attacks.

When out of possession, we emphasize an aggressive approach to winning the ball back quickly, both in transition and in general play. In the final third, Eleftheria players are empowered to express themselves, making instinctive choices on how to score. We’re dedicated to developing skilled individuals who understand the value of teamwork—winning together as one unified club.
