Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club Heads To Cyprus For Bi-Annual Soccer And Cultural Tour
Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club (EPSC) is proud to announce its bi-annual Cyprus Soccer & Cultural Tour, taking place during the 2026 February school break. This one-of-a-kind experience blends high-level soccer competition with a deep cultural and historical journey across the island of Cyprus — the spiritual home of Eleftheria’s name and identity.
Designed for players of Greek or Cypriot heritage born in 2009, 2010, and 2011, the program gives young athletes the chance to train and compete internationally, facing off in three to four matches against top youth academies from across Cyprus. On and off the field, the trip promises to be a transformational experience, balancing soccer development, team bonding, and cultural education.
Beyond competition, players will tour historical landmarks, cultural sites, and scenic destinations, gaining firsthand exposure to the vibrant traditions and proud history of Cyprus. Visits may include ancient ruins, medieval fortresses, coastal villages, and museums celebrating the island’s Hellenic heritage — giving participants a powerful connection to their roots and community identity.
In an extraordinary show of partnership, the Cyprus Government will cover all in-country expenses, including accommodation, meals, and guided tours throughout the program. Families will only be responsible for airfare and any personal expenses, making this journey both accessible and deeply rewarding.
“This trip is about soccer and most importantly it’s about identity, connection, and pride,” said Billy Antoniou, Executive Director of EPSC. “Our players will compete against top players in Cyprus, walk the ancient street, and experience the culture of Cyprus firsthand. It’s a journey that builds skill, character, and lifelong memories.”
The EPSC Cyprus Soccer & Cultural Tour continues a proud tradition of connecting New York’s youth to their cultural heritage while advancing their soccer journey. It’s a program that reflects EPSC’s mission to create complete players — technically sharp, culturally grounded, and globally aware.
