The first annual Holiday Invitational “Battle for Astoria Park” pick-up game was held on December 23, 2021 hosted by Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club, NY Pancyprian Freedoms and Vera’s Soccer Academy. The winner stays-on 11x11 games featured over 40 players from the host clubs plus BW Gottschee, Met Oval and many top New York City high school and regional college soccer teams.

Eleftheria Pancyprian Soccer Club President Nicos Tziazas presided over the 2021 EPSC Holiday dinner on Monday, December 13, 2021 with members of the board, club directors, coaches and managers from the EPSC youth programs in attendance. The Cosmopolitan Junior Soccer League (CJSL) has partnered with andGO Sports to host the 5th annual Boys Cosmopolitan Winter College Showcase.The College ID event series starts with tryouts to identify the top evaluated players to showcase their abilities in the final round robin showcase. In a strong and commanding performance, the NY Pancyprian Freedoms handed the New Amsterdam FC II their eighth loss of the Fall 2021 season in the Metropolitan Conference of the Eastern Premier Soccer League with a 5-1 victory on Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Long time Eleftheria Pancyprian and NY Pancyprian Freedom player Tasos Polydefkis had the decisive goal in the 45” to make the NY Pancyprian Freedoms O-30 victorious over the NY Greek American Soccer Club O-30 in the ENYSSA Gerhard Mengel Amateur Cup final on December 2, 2021 at Maritime College.
