NYPF Win EPSL Double in Victorious Greek Derby Final

Saturday, June 10th, marked a momentous day as the first place NY Pancyprian Freedoms emerged victorious over the third place NY Greek Americans in the final game of the Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan conference final. The highly anticipated Greek Derby showdown took place at the prestigious Belson Stadium, where both teams showcased their skills, determination, and passion for the beautiful game.

In a thrilling encounter, the NYPF sealed their victory with a hard-fought 2-1 win with first half goals from Sebastian Ruiz and Joseph Holland. The match was a true testament to the talent and spirit of the NYPF, captivating the crowd with its intense gameplay and strategic moves. This victory for the NY Pancyprian Freedoms in the Eastern Premier Soccer League Metropolitan conference playoff follows the team winning the league by coming in first place at the end of the regular season. Next up the NYPF will battle in the 2023 EPSL Finals on June 24-25 at the Evergreen Sportsplex in Leesburg, Virginia.
